Maybe one of the most powerful laws of the universe is also one of the most counterintuitive, thus for many, the most elusive. If you can embrace this principle, it can liberate the resistance you might have to getting anything you ever wanted in life…
What do you want in life?
What do you think you lack?
What do you wish to receive?
Here is how to get it –
Give to others what you wish to receive.
Why?
“Giving starts the receiving process” –Jim Rohn
“You reap what you sow.” “You get what you give.”
“Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Lk 6:31
“Every action generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind” –Law of Karma
Want more success? → Help someone else become successful.
Want more love? → Give love to someone else.
Want to make more connections? → Help others connect.
Want more happiness? → Make someone else happy.
When you give, you provoke your power to create abundance. If you withhold, you are stopping the rebounding energy flow of reciprocity.
“The one who gives is the one that receives most.” –Albert Schweitzer
If you are reading this blog I can assume you are an ambitious achiever who wants even more success in life. I have an opportunity for you – a way to ignite the law of reciprocity for you and the success you desire…
We have recently launched The SUCCESS Foundation. It is a completely charitable organization dedicated to helping teenagers discover the fundamental personal-development principles to help them realize their potential and live their best lives.
If we really want to make a difference in the world, in our country, in your community, the best investment we can make is in our future – the youth. Often the most important principles and skills on how to live a successful life are not taught in school – goal setting, self-responsibility, building self-worth, communicating with others, managing finances and developing a success mindset.
Through collaboration with some of the greatest success experts of our time, the SUCCESS Foundation has created a book called SUCCESS for Teens. It condenses the most important success principles to help teenagers realize their potential for greatness and send them on the path to achieving their dreams.
The SUCCESS Foundation is giving this book away – for free.
The goal of the foundation is to give away 5 million books to teens. Think about the potential impact this could have on the future of our nation, your community, and the lives of the teenagers in our own circles. Many of the greatest leaders and achievers of our time were made possible because their dreams and creative imaginations were sparked through the ideas expressed in a book. We can bring that gift to 5 million teenagers.
Join us in this mission to help distribute the SUCCESS for Teens book. Together, we can positively affect the lives of an entire generation.
An additional benefit – the more you help, the more you will be helped. Your involvement in helping others find success will spark the law of reciprocity in your own life. It could be the most important thing you do to invest in being more successful for the rest of 2008 and in 2009.
Here is how it works:
1 – Youth development non-profits, church groups and schools involved with youth leadership can request copies of the book for free. Simply download the form and fax it to 940-497-9988.
2 – Or, you can buy boxes of the books for $1 each (to cover costs and shipping) and distribute them to teenagers in your community – family, neighbors, children of friends, children in schools, churches, sports leagues, etc.
Here is what I am doing personally… 5&5.
My personal (initial) goal is to distribute 5 boxes (50 books each) to individual teenagers within my sphere of influence, neighborhood and community. And I will engage at least 5 nonprofit youth organizations to embrace the philosophy and support the principles of the book and get involved with its distribution. These will be organizations qualified to receive as many books as they can support for free.
How about you? Want to do something significant, something that makes a life-changing difference in the life of another… many others? Want to ignite the law of reciprocity in building your own success?
Join us. Help us reach 5 million teenagers with the SUCCESS for Teens book.

30/Sep/2008 2Darren,
I attended the life changing event in Anaheim, California. $97 dollars is nothing for the value given in the seminar. Not that you should charge more :). I would like to thank you and SUCCESS magazine for the influence you’ve had on me thus far.
I have been throwing the idea of implementing these principles of success to teenagers (hence the website was made) but SUCCESS got ahead of me
but for the principle of love, I will say that I want to be part of this now more than ever. It’s very likely that I’ll be mentoring kids these next 2 months in some of the poorest schools in Long Beach, California. More than helping them with school, I want to set an example for these kids and I feel this book will help oh, so much.
As soon as I get home, I’ll download the form. Print it out and get involved. Props for making this happen!
Keep it up!

30/Sep/2008 3Darren,
Fabulous!!
I downloaded the form already and have similar plans!
It is an incredible book. I am reading it to my 8 & 12 year olds each night before bed. (The 8 yr old sighs, but the 12 year old requests it!) I ran copies of the request form and took them to my local business briefing to share last week. I am sending my request in as I am personally involved with three non-profits that serve my local community.
Thanks for putting up the challenge!

30/Sep/2008 4The difference between an inheritance and a legacy is that one is just money that is gone once spent, while the other is a set of values that live beyond with a life all its own. I will donate my time plus the tax deductible legal limit of my charitable donation by teaching legacy planning. If you have a non-profit organization and want to receive contributions from individuals that will provide you funding as part of their legacy, call on me to help you get there. Who is helping you to obtain 100 million in the next 15-20 years? I fully extend my support to the goals of Success for Teens. I certified as a teacher of business subjects at the high school level and know that you are right on target with your mission.

01/Oct/2008 5This is a great idea. I’m up in Canada. I was wondering if I can proceed in my community of Timmins, Ontario.
The teens in this area could definitely benefit from this book. My teenage daughter is one of those teens.
I also have long-term goals in mind for my copy of the book because I have 3 other children who will eventually benefit from it.
Thanks Darren for emailing me this wonderful program.

01/Oct/2008 6Hi
I have been on a journey to change my life. I started a business at 58 years old after having a relatively?? successful run at management. I have been seeking success dogedly for the last year after my emotional breakdown. My business is a weight loss business to help people achieve their goals. Part of our business includes a Life Success component put together largely by Jim Rohn. Still I seek to gain my own success. I have been bombarded lately by the giving principle.
Money right now is very tight but I am making a committment to put aside having lunches for a week to save the money to get a case of books. I will be ordering them and distributing them to a Youth for Christ group who reaches out to teenagers who are from disadvantaged groups.
Thanks there are no accidents as to where the internet leads us!!

01/Oct/2008 7Great book! My son is 21 now and we tried to apply these principles in any way that we could as he grew. He went through many difficult times, but is now very well grounded and inspired. We also read Robert Collier’s 100 year old book “Secret of the Ages” and “The Secret of Gold.” Truly inspiring.
But things did not really take off until we began to give and he understands the value of that now. I am grateful to have a son that cares this much. Thanks, Darren!

02/Oct/2008 8Darren, I would like to order copies to personlly distribute, but did not see a link on the site to purchase them. I think this is a WONDEFUL idea! I was just looking online last week, trying to find a book on success to order for my teenage nieces. This can truly make a powerful impact on their future and ours. When the future generations are successful and happy, we all are. Thanks!

02/Oct/2008 9Oh, my God!!! I read the copy that was given to me at my business conference. Ordered copies for distribution to the youth of my church, youth leaders and community organizations. The response is overwhelming…we’re talking teen workshops, discussion groups … what a wonderful gesture. This book will change lives. I have to order more. Thank you.

13/Oct/2008 12Hi Darren. I’m writing from Caracas, Venezuela. Excellent program for the young ones and the no so young =). I’d like to get involved and start it here in my country that it’s in urgent need of right information. Just one thing though Is the book published in Spanish? If not, are you planning on doing it? How about this…let me do it…I’ll translated it and start this program for Venezuela and Latin America. What do you say? Thank you guys for doing this a reality.
