15/Oct/2008 1Hello everyone,
Thank you for keep Success magazine stay alive and still stand! It best business tools for everything information for people who want build business. It could be network market, retail store owner, self-employee, or anything from A to Z business. It great invest to get that magazine. Why? 15/Oct/2008 2Right thought.
For virtually my whole life, my success was determined by what I did. My external actions. And I am grateful that those actions have paid off in many ways. But serious success has always required serious understanding. And the more I understood, the more I realized how little I knew. An assault to my ego.
It wasn’t until I came across the wisdom of many authors that you cover in your magazine that led me to this one simple truth. …That success comes from within first. And my actions became simply a result of right thinking.
So, to be truly successful, this new year will require something new from me. Something I’ve dared to release…
I will commit myself to rigorous right thinking. Whole heartedly. I will commit time to expanding my thoughts, sharing and giving. And “getting” will be the outcome based on what I give. The rewards that I have received in my life since I began this journey have been tremendous. Areas of love, beauty, prosperity and wealth have all increased. All because I was willing to have more faith, more belief and more truth in my life.
My faith in my understanding of God and his gift inside me has, and will always lead me to greatness. To say that I appreciate your efforts in this publication just wouldn’t be enough to convey.
My sincere gratitude and thanks to you and your staff. Not for me. But for sharing this knowledge with the world in a way that is useful.

16/Oct/2008 3Hi Mr Hardy Ithink your magazine is outstanding filled with pure first class cutting edge materials Ihave seen you many times on THE BIG IDEA GREAT JOB TOO.Iwould love to subscribe to purchasing your magazine but Iam rehabbing a severe leg injury until at least the end of January 09 and my financial situation has become bleak. Iam a gen mgr and sales trainer for an automotive retail dealer group. So obviously the information is extremely valueable to me personally as well as professionally.
Have a great day and keep up the great work!

16/Oct/2008 4Hi Darren,
Thanks again for the opportunities you are providing for us. Now, as for having my best year ever; I usually find that we need a few steps to achieve our goals, it’s never just one thing - so I have it in four steps:
1) Clarity - what do I want?
2) Why - As they say, if you have a ‘why’ you can endure any ‘what’
3) Write it down - something magical about this step?
4) Chunk it down - make it into do-able bite-sized chunks.
We just have to get through that 30 day window and we are good to go!
Thanks soooo much Darrren, I love the mag and the blog.

16/Oct/2008 5Due to the nature of my business and the services provide by my company, I plan to have a great year in 2009. My company provides counseling services to consumers experiencing financial difficulties. Our primary focus is on assisting homeowners who are having difficulties maintaining payments on their homes, automobiles, creditcards and personal loans. Because of the current economic crisis my business has shown a steady increase during the past eight months. And based on this growth my plan is to hire 10 - 15 employees in 2009 and open 3 additional offices, in addition to contracting 100-150 independent representatives. I also plan to increase my marketing efforts and generate approximately $1.5 million in revenue by offering my services nationwide.
2009 will be the best year of my life, considering I was unemployed and broke less than two years ago.

16/Oct/2008 7when i was 17 i received an inheritance upwards of $100,000. i had blown it all by 20 years old. from 20 until earlier this year when i turned 23 i coasted by thinking things would get better by themselves. until one day i really became disgusted as jim rohn says with my circumstances and i began to search for answers from within. and from june of 2008 until now i have accomplished more than i ever thought possible. ive done things i didnt even think about earlier this year. and all this is a foundation for a wonderful 2009. My 2009 will be great if i stick to my plan because of the foundation that i am laying in these last months of the year. i wish everyone a great 2009

16/Oct/2008 8September 1st through November 1st, 2007, was unquestionably the worst time in my life. I was the program director for a Hip-Hop radio station in Ohio. Two of my staff members decided not to show up for work over Labor Day weekend; one of whom disappeared completely for 10 days, only to reappear… to pick up his check. The woman I just started dating was almost murdered by the father of her son over that same weekend. My truck was repossessed because money I wired to my finance company “could not be completed,” and neither the bank nor the wiring service would give an explanation. My radio station was sold to a new company, who then 2 months later “decided to go in a different direction” and terminated me (even though the station and my afternoon radio show was rated #1 the entire time I was running the station, and 40% of the money made by the company in this town came from my station).
So I’ve taken a body blow, an uppercut, a jab between the eyes… and then I get blindsided by a chair (to mix boxing and wrestling metaphors). For the past 11 months I’ve sustained myself as a nightclub disc jockey in towns and cities in Ohio and Massachusetts, while actively pursuing radio jobs around the country. Unfortunately, with the destruction of radio stocks (both before and during the recent downturn), more experienced radio veterans than I were being kicked to the curb due to belt-tightening that has turned into limb-cutting. My chances of getting another program director job grew slimmer every time another big-name radio person got cut.
Just before my birthday in September 2008, I decided to get my life out of suspended animation, stop waiting on radio and move back to Boston by December 1st, 2008 (I lived in Boston for 18 years before moving to Ohio to gain more experience as a radio program director). My plans to make 2009 the best year of my life are now crystal-clear:
• brand myself as one of the premier disc jockeys in the country for upscale urban professional and celebrity events; and
• build and sustain weekly upscale events in the New England area.
Here is my game plan for greatness! For branding I will:
• Create weekly podcasts showcasing the different facets of my abilities as a nightclub disc jockey, including:
⁃ Hip-Hop/R&B podcast
⁃ Top-40/Dance/Rock/Hip-Hop podcast
⁃ Old School Hip-Hop/R&B podcast
⁃ House/Dance podcast
⁃ Neo-Soul podcast
⁃ 2 different Classic Soul podcasts
⁃ Slow Jam podcast
• Create a podcast dedicated to my recorded live performances at nightclubs around the country
• Become one of the first interactive DJs with a dedicated text number for instant requests and shout outs
• Be consistent in publicizing my podcasts and text number to everyone from event planners to event patrons via blogs, on-line flyers, text messages, email, placing podcasts on Myspace and Facebook pages, and handing out free mix CDs at my events
For building and sustaining weekly upscale events I will:
• Focus on people 25 to 40 years old who work hard, but don’t have an outlet to play hard, since most nightclubs cater primarily to the 18 to 24 year old crowd
• Provide great music for people who want dance to current music without feeling like they are at a teen club
• Find good people and make it easy for them socialize with other good people by having facilitators sparking conversations and introducing people to each other
• Ensure that I’m superserving my niche by creating a private social network on Ning.com so my club friends can interact with me and interact with each other
• Creating an exclusive card for private social network members so they get admission discounts, line privileges, free VIP lounge upgrades and drink specials at nightclubs I promote
Since I made the decision to move back to Boston, I have gigs coming left and right. Everything is going so well, I’m moving back to Boston 2 weeks early! I’m spinning a 90s Hip-Hop and R&B party the last week I’m in Ohio; I’m doing a Classic Soul private party the first week I’m back in Boston; I’m headlining a fundraiser for a major Black sorority at the end of November, and I’ll be the featured DJ for a major monthly event the first week in December. 3 different promotion companies want to work with me when I return, and a major Boston music festival wants me as the host and headline DJ in the summer of 2009! And I can’t measure all the love I’m getting from people who followed my 8 year career on the radio in Boston and are excited to have me back in the city… the best year of my life has already started!

17/Oct/2008 11As our economy continues to head south, my business will continue to prosper. As a Personal Financial Consulting company that provide counseling service to consumers experiencing financial difficulties, my business continues to grow at a rapid pace. Based on my growth in the past six months, I have been forced to hire and prepare to hire additional staff for 2009. By specializing in assisting consumers facing foreclosure we have been able to maintaing a steady flow of clients for several months.
Fast forward to 2009. Based on projected revenues my company is expected to hit $1.5 million in sales. I plan to open three additional offices and hire 100-150 Independent Agents a in 2009, in addition to increasing our marketing budget by 50%.
Considering the company was started in lated 2007 with only $50.00, I see 2009 being a really great year.

17/Oct/2008 12Thanks to the Jack Canfield coaching program and my personal coach, Sheri Fawson, 2009 will easily be the Best year of my life. I have had to overcome (and still working on) Procrastination, Perfectionism, Very Low Self Esteem / Self Confidence, very High Anxiety, Overwhelmed, Grouchy and Mean to the ones I love (because I could get away with it), Over Committed, and had no idea where I was going from one day to the next because I never created a Goal in my life. In short; I was pretty messed up.
At 44 years old I have been blessed with two wonderful grandsons by my daughter. I have a son who accrued 30 College credits through International Baccalaureate Classes in High School and is now attending Western Washington University in Bellingham, Wa. My wife and I just celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary, which is an incredible feat, considering what she has had to tolerate. I have been able to make a six-figure income since 1999 in the telecommunications industry through shear tenacity and personal sacrifice. I was introduced to a “Spare Time” business opportunity nearly a year ago which changed our lives for good.
In order to succeed at my new business on a Spare Time basis and still maintain my current employment, I knew I needed to make some changes to my “Time Management” system. I found my (previously unread) 12 year old copy of “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen Covey, and read it cover to cover. I took notes, hi-lighted every page and was ready to be a new person; at least until the enthusiasm dissipated. One of the 10 Core Commitments for success in my new business is Personal Development. Jeff Olson referenced Jim Rohn several times when I heard him speak, so I figured I would do what successful people recommend, and proceeded immediately to the library and borrowed “The Power of Ambition” CDs. Since then I can’t seem to get enough; I’ve invested heavily in my library (audio/video/books), signed up for Success Magazine starting with the Kiyosaki Issue which led me to the book and DVD – “The Secret” and Jack Canfield’s e-mail newsletters. I received an offer to talk with one of Jack’s coaches so I promptly called his offices. I spoke with one of his staff who suggested I review Jack’s book “The Success Principles.” I read nearly half of the 460 page book in a week; it was like Literary Heroin. After a couple interviews with Jack’s staff, my wife and I agreed it would be wise to invest in Jack Canfield’s Personal Coaching. I signed up for the 12 Month program and have never looked back.
After just 3 months of weekly assignments and ½ hour coaching sessions each week I am a completely new man. The best part is that I still have a long way to go and the upcoming improvements will be exponential to what I’ve already experienced. Now that I have a Vision, the path is clear and possibilities are endless. I’ve been able to establish Goals, develop Disciplines, and create Routines that I will actually maintain. “Intensive Affirmation Therapy” (as Sheri puts it), has helped make tremendous strides toward building my Self Esteem so that I start seeing the Positive in everything instead of being focused on the energy draining Negative. The increase in Confidence allows me to say No when appropriate and limits over committing. I find it easy to show appreciation to those around me, and offer compliments rather than belittle and criticize.
My ultimate goal in life is to have perfect Balance between being compensated well for doing what I love and being committed to the ones I love. People everywhere will feel my positive influence and when they see my caller ID, they will be excited to take my call. I will get there by staying consistently focused on my Core Values and by exquisitely managing all four forms of Energy to maintain Full Engagement (Power of Full Engagement – Jim Loehr/Tony Schwartz). I am very fortunate to have found a business that will allow me to leverage the poor economy to help an enormous number of people and also maintain a high paying corporate position as my “Day Job.” The level of Success I achieve in spite of the poor economy will prove that I am worthy to be followed. The World will get to hear my story and Success Principles will become a core foundation of our educational system.
I am excited to be able to share my story in a publication designed for people who are consistently sharpening their axe. I hope to learn that I’ve inspired someone to take the risk and put all they have into becoming the best person they can. Change can be extremely difficult and an incredible amount of work; publications like Success Magazine make the work easier and more enjoyable. Christmas shopping for distant relatives will be easy this year thanks to Success Magazine; a gift subscription could prove to be far more valuable than any material object I could possibly think of.

20/Oct/2008 13In January of 2008, I made the big decision to quit my job in the corporate world to follow my heart, my passion and my dream.
I started the company Dream List Media with a mission to inspire others to follow their dreams and to celebrate their amazing accomplishments. I speak with kids and adults, teaching them to break their big dreams into smaller goals that they can start accomplishing right away.
I also published, Dream List Photo Journals, which are themed fill-in-the-blank journals with space to create a dream list (a list of all the things you’d like to do in your lifetime), as well as photo and journal space to record accomplished dreams. The finished product is a personalized photo journal about one’s amazing life. It’s taken almost nine grueling months to produce these journals, but they are finally here!
So the plan for 2009 is to make it my best year ever. I plan for my business to become a success and to inspire lives across the nation. I could write a short novel detailing my goals and action plans, but I’ll spare you those details…for now. Here’s a quick run down:
-Step one: take a deep breath…and focus on the positives during these hard economic times
-Step two: spread the word… through the media, workshops, speaking events, and online
-Step three: work, work and more work…plus a little playtime (all work and no play is no fun, right?)
-Step four: pay it forward…helping others in need
-Step five: celebrate…with a bottle of bubbly at the end of the year
Cheers to everyone making 2009 the best year ever!

21/Oct/2008 14Thank you Darren for reviving Success Magazine. This magazine has been and continues to be an inspiration to all those who open their minds. I used to religiously read the first editions I came across in the 1960’s and I enjoyed them greatly. I have been inspired by mentors such as Napoleon Hill, W. Clement Stone, Dr. Maxwell Maltz, Zig Ziglar, Norman Vincent Peale, Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, etc. for years. My goal today is to assist individuals struggling in the grasps of addiction and dysfunctional lifestyles. I left that lifestyle in 1975 to look for a better life.
I am now a Registered Addictions Specialist, a Thought Field Therapiist, a newspaper columnist, etc. I am in the process of publishing two books, I travel to different communities and give workshops and seminars on subjects such as “Looking Beyond Addictions - What’s next after you stop drinking and drugging?” I believe there is a future for anyone who chooses to look for it.
Life in 2009 will be fantastic.

21/Oct/2008 152009. What a year it will be! I graduated from chiropractic school in June 0f 2002 and since then have opened 3 successful chiropractic rehabilitation clinics. Many people have asked me, Dr. Tim, how have you achieved so much in so little time? My first answer is, “My focus is my reality!” Snce my early 20s I have suspected that I could create the world I seek, simply be first living it in my head and that it would be drawn to me. I was not until age 27 that I began to study the laws of abundance and truly learned how to dip into the stream of abundance. My newest idea that I am working on ‘in my head’ is that God is our creator of our lives and that we are the desgner! We are all given the oppurtunty to acheive greatness. It is our natural born right. I hope to share my thoughts and ideas with the world, in a short book called, “Beyond Thinking Positive” I am certain that in the past six years I have learned how cultivate, create, and captivate the live that I want and I have also learned how to share it with others. I will continue to use what I have learned from my experience as a natural healer to inspire others and make 2009 a footprint on the legacy I hope to create!

23/Oct/2008 16What’s your plan to have the best year of your life?
The final quarter of 2008 marks the beginning of my small business. 2009 will be the completion of fully establishing my communications organization as a leader in franchising, distributions, and sales.

II. Continuing training and development for each team member with clear and established objectives, both personally and organizationally.
III. Assisting the American Economy in its pursuit of recovery.
If you are changing direction by starting a new business or tackling your longtime fitness goals, tell us your game plan for greatness!
I. Each team member is a family member that will be nurtured and supported through each evolution of the organization.
II. The team is a dynamic entity that will be encouraged to facilitate synergy and moderation.
III. Every individual success will be recognized as a contribution to the team.

23/Oct/2008 17My plan for a great 2009 is to ultimately stay focused and positive daily and realize that I am in total control of my emotions 24/7. It is very important to me to continue to improve on my self-development! A daily action plan will help me to have a exceptional year as well as working towards my ideal life purpose and vision statement for myself.
My goal for the year 2009 is first, to open up my own financial service business by April 30, 2009; And by August 7, 2009 start saving $5000 a month towards my future goal of being a cash-millionaire by age 30. My plan of action to achieve these goals is first to make sure I have a clear definite purpose and vision. To make 20 or more new contacts a day and stay consistent. All my business requires is people, that is my inventory so the more contacts I make the more successful I will be! Another fun goal of mine is to read 26 positive/self-improvement books in 2009! A book every 2 weeks. One never stops growing and learning even after school!

27/Oct/2008 18My focus is, and always will be, to H.E.L.P. others.
H - Health. Maintaining my health, the health of my family, and inspiring others to take steps toward leading healthier lives.
E - Education. Continually investing in my education through reading great magazines (like SUCCESS) and books and listening to informational, motivational, and inspirational MP3’s. Then utilizing that information to help motivate and inspire others to reach their potential.
L - Legacy. Focusing on the positive things I can do to leave a better legacy for my children.
P - Philanthropy. Taking time each week to help those who cannot help themselves. I imagine what a great place the world would be in 2009 if everyone did that!

28/Oct/2008 20Thank you for your publication. It only reaffirms everything I am putting in action from the tools I have been given from many of your popular contributors.
My 2009 is clear to me that any year is a good year that involves learning ,achieving and challenging goals. In the past I may have bought into the negative spinning that is now going on in the media concerning the economy but I know the winers look at this as a chance to prosper and shine.
I plan to stand out as everyone else worries I will take a bold foot forward and put into reality my business goals for my new company.I consider the state of the economy an advantage because if I can achieve under these curcumstances I know things can only keep getting better.Imagine how much I will learn from the mistakes of those whom have gone before me.Hurry up New years!
Looking forward to the ride.

28/Oct/2008 212009 will be the best year yet. I have so many exciting goals that I’m not waiting for the new year to get started.
I am an event photographer in Brisbane, Australia and in 2008 I become freelance and have hit new heights. I have the privilege of being asked to be the official photographer at all of Tony Robbins’ events in the southern hemisphere including Australia and Asia which began in September and will be amazing to grow in 2009. The new goal is now to have two events a month (at least) on the books.
I am also growing my own digital art business. These images are a combination of my own original work and some of the greatest motivational quotes of our time. Take a look at my portfolio at http://www.art4inspiration.com and let me know what you think. Feedback is always welcome in growing a business. So the 2009 goal is for this business to replace my salaried position that I gave to someone else. As one of my other strong beliefs is that you can grow without giving back I have pledged that 10% of all sales from this site will be donated to the Brisbane Basket Brigade to help fund food hampers for struggling families in times of need (see http://www.brisbanebasketbrigade.org )
My other big goal for 2009 is to work with a personal trainer on a weekly basis to improve my health and fitness so that I can optimize life and be an outstanding role model for my own children and also those I mentor.
Can’t wait to get it all happening

31/Oct/2008 22I will make 2009 my best year ever by implementing the PACE of Success Strategies on a daily basis.
In a nutshell, PACE of Success Strategies involve utilizing Positive Attitude, Concentration, and Effort to develop balance between a person’s physical, mental and emotional selves. The ideal plan to create the desired balance requires feeding, exercising and resting the body, the mind and the spirit on a daily basis.
I will use these elements to:
1. Develop/Market paceofsuccess.com to become a resource for others.
2. Develop a revenue stream teaching PACE of Success Strategies.
2. Launch three complimentary websites.

08/Nov/2008 26In order to fully move forward I have placed myself on ‘lock-down’ from Nov. 1, 2008 through January 2, 2009. Essentially, I am not watching any television or DVD movies (I love the classics) because there is too much for me to do. Once lock-down is over there will be very limited movie/television time. During this time I am concentrating on directing my life and enterprise to where I want it to go. Decluttering my living space, journaling my progress, moving towards daily physical activity and exercise, securing a publisher for my first book and continued mentoring and encouraging others in their dreams, visions and goals. I am a transcriptionist, proof-reader (which I am currently marketing myself as) and writer for a Christian newspaper. 2009 will be the best yet as I shall be living my ‘dash’ to the fullest (books published, motivational speaking engagements, clothing line for full figured women, inspirational gift baskets), with intentionality and on purpose. To the publishers of Success magazine - THANK YOU - for each power packed, motivation filled issue. DWC

09/Dec/2008 29My plan to have my best life is the following:
* Be grateful for my life and what I have now.
* Set a plan and take action on that plan.
* Set priorities for work, family and life.
* Align my business with market needs making certain that what I do is a winning situation for all involved.
I have already set the groundwork for my business outreach in 2009. In 2008 my consulting firm created partnerships and relationships that allow us to assist companies who are seeking resources to manage their businesses more economically. A large part of this outreach involves helping companies who are experiencing a lot of frustration in containing rising health insurance costs, which has outpaced inflation for the past four years. With increases in the range of 18% - 40% coupled with the dismal current economic climate, it has placed a heavy burden on their bottom line. In addition to working one on one with clients, I have written a free article that sheds some light on the problem and provide some answers to the growing question: How do I contain or manage growing health Insurance costs in 2009?
Addressing rising health care costs is only one part of the puzzle. We have other ways to help them trim costs and strengthen their bottom line and create a strong workforce. What I most enjoy about the work ahead is that we have been able to develop our plan in a way that allows others to grow and strengthen their businesses and retain employees in the process.
There is much financial stress for U.S. businesses now and they are seeking solutions and solid answers. If we can help them strengthen their bottom line and assist them and their employees through the uncertain economic times, it will certainly be a wonderful 2009.
