FREE Audio Excerpts — Dr. Srikumar Rao

freeaudio-2-258x300

If you read SUCCESS (I hope you do!) you saw Dr. Rao featured in the pages of our September issue. The response was so great that we were compelled to bring him back and interview him live for everyone to hear on the CD inside of the October issue of SUCCESS.

Dr. Rao is the former professor who taught a personal-development course at both the Columbia University School of Business and the London School of Business, and the author of Are You Ready to Succeed?

Our interview lasted over an hour, but we were only able to fit 20 minutes of it on the CD. Even though this content is reserved only for SUCCESS subscribers (hey, it’s only two bucks and change a month!), I decided to release the additional excerpts here. Enjoy!

SEGMENT #1 – In this segment Dr. Rao discusses business relationships and how to create meaningful interactions with customers and colleagues alike.

SEGMENT #2 – In this segment Dr. Rao discusses the topic of personal mastery and how to get a handle on your mental chatter.

  1. This web page can be a stroll-by for the entire data you wished about this and didnt know who to ask. Glimpse right here, and also youll positively uncover it.

  2. Dan Hardy,

I gotta be honest, I didn’t like the first audio play. It just wasn’t my style. I really doin’t like it when someone impose something of “that” or “this, no your wrong and I’m right” attitude. I felt that from the customer service of the first one.

Onto a more better note: I thought the second listen was fantatic. Even though I didn’t agree with all, it has alot of simple things that fit my personality, and his tips and tricks of recording the self chatter is genius!

I thought of recording emotions before, but I didn’t get past the 3rd day of doing it, and it was because I was writing it all down. Which is an “action bothersome” It’s bulky and complicated. He mentioned recording self talk, and you know what I’m gonna do exactly that.

Great listen, Thanks a bunch Dan

  3. This is phenominal. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve told people, “If I could only turn the little man in my head off”. I can’t wait to try his suggestions. Thank you for the free excerpt.

  4. I am like ET, I need more input. I listened to every CD, over and over and over until the next issue. I’m in my car daily and my CD Player has your CD’s on speed dial, when the car starts. I appreciate the information and constantly share the subscription pamphlet with evreyone I meet.

But the most meaningful honor for me at the age of 52 is to share these principals and philosophies daily with my Juan, my 7 year old.

    Thanks Success Magazine.

  5. I continue to be impressed with the useful content in Success magazine and the accompanying CD. It is one of my favorite magazines and is well worth the price. I particularly like the CD because I can listen to many of the featured achievers on my way to work.

Darren, keep up the great job you are doing. I think your team puts out a high- quality product. I have recommended the magazine to several friends and have sent a couple of them gift subscriptions.

  6. Hey Darren,
Really, I can’t believe we are getting all this for just the price of the magazine. You truly walk you talk when you say “giving the customer more than expected.” I love it, please keep it coming. I’ll support you and Success magazine for as long as it takes for it to become the #1 magazine at the newsstand.
