Wonderful video Darren. It truly is the simple things in life that make a difference if lived well. The attention to the tiny details means so much more than the striving for the bigger things. So many lose sight of the tiny details in their pursuit of success and fail to understand that it is the smile on the face, the touch of the hand, the love and care shared by another heart, the minute to stop and look and tend to others that paves the way to true internal happiness and life success. These are the gifts one cannot buy and to truly own them one has to give them away for these are the gifts one cannot hold and only by giving them away do we feel them ourselves.

Thank you for this. What a sendoff for Jim! That’s quite a lineup of personal developement superstars assembled to say goodbye to a true legend. I was privileged to meet Jim at his seminars in NY a few times, and even lucky enough to win a complete set of his materials back in the 90’s. I am so incredibly humbled when I think of how Jim Rohn stepped right up, played full out and not only shared his gifts with the world, but with how he nurtured and grew them as well. Think of how much less the world would be if Jim had decided not to exercise his gifts because he didn’t think he was good enough or feared what others would think or say. Instead he chose to follow the leading in faith that his gifts were meant to be exercised and shared with all of us. And look at the result. To me, that is Jim’s greatest contribution. He demonstrated just what CAN happen when we generously use our gifts and talents to the full, with grace, gratitude and humility. A role model for us all.

I first listened to Jim in 1993….wow, this gentleman was a powerful influence I listened and took notes ! I carry his philosophy with me to this day and thank him for his influence on me.

I was first exposed to Jim Rohn in 1981 during a special Amway weekend event in Palm Springs CA. The word that most accurately describes my emotions after that seminar was smitten! I couldn’t stop thinking or talking about Jim and back then not many people knew who he was and I recall desperately looking for more of his material and just not being able to find it for whatever reason until some years later. Thank you for such a fine tribute to Jim and for your dedication to carrying his legacy forward! He was truly and exceptional human being and as he so lovingly said he carried all of us with him whenever he left a venue, well now the best way to show our love and appreciation for him is to continue to carry and share him with as many others as we can. Thank you for making that so much more possible! I too am behind on Designing the Best 10 Years of my life, but I am determined to complete it all no matter how long it takes! Your keynote speech to honor Jim Rohn was very moving. I am not a very emotional person by nature(something I am personally not proud of). I felt a little something inside to where I needed to pause the video, collect myself and continue. You should make a short DVD that people can get, it would help a lot of peope. Your last chapter on action was what I needed to hear. I have always had good intentions, but have never followed through. I am now 45 and have as I feel come to the crossroads of my life. My next step after this e-mail is to order “The Mentor package” and hopefully take action. I want to thank you for letting me write this comment.
