How to Live Your Best Year Ever
Are you feeling a little bummed or even disappointed in where you are in life right now?
Did you think you would be doing a little bit better and be a little further along in life by now?
Are you a little down on yourself about how you have let your body go… or your relationships wane a bit… or maybe you’re frustrated about the fact you aren’t doing better in your job or business… or you haven’t been the parent you wanted to be?
Maybe it’s even worse and you have recently filed for bankruptcy… or maybe you are recently divorced or just suffered a heart attack or some other serious health condition?
If so, it’s time for a turning point.
You’ve probably heard the definition of insanity—doing the same things over and over and expecting different results. You’re not insane are you? If you want the next year to be different than the last year, then now is the time to do something different.
Here is a very inspiring realization: No matter what your past has been, you have a spotless future.
When you wake up tomorrow the canvas of your life is blank. You can paint a completely different picture tomorrow than you have ever painted before. Your past does not equal your future. You can hit the reset button to your life at any time. I want to suggest you hit it today.
I want to help you. I can show you how to achieve in a few months what it takes others an entire lifetime to achieve. If you’ve got the ambition and the passion to radically redesign your future
Please enjoy the final video in this series below.
Do you want to make THIS year the year you not only set big goals, but actually achieve them?
What if there was a system that would materialize any goal you wanted? What goals would you declare for 2011?
I can tell you from personal experience, there is such a system.
I spent much of 2010 analyzing my own practices and processes as well as collecting up all the best I have discovered on human motivation, commitment, consistency and performance. This mixed with my personal goal achievement system that has enabled me to earn millions of dollars in a multitude of different industries. I am excited to announce that now this same system is available to you.
As you know by now there is a huge difference between goal setting and goal achieving. Many set goals, few achieve them. To set goals you need piece of paper and a pencil. To achieve goals you need a system of execution and performance–on that will guide you ever step of the way, all year-long. That is what I have designed for you in the Living Your Best Year Ever system. In the beautiful 240-page leather bound journal includes:
- Instructional Guide walking you through the entire process
- Life Assessment Worksheets
- Goal Designing Formula and Program
- A complete 52-Week, 12-Month and 4-Quarter Achievement Management System (key!)
- Personal Development Training for Sustained Achievement
- PLUS an accompanying 4-CD audio program with exclusive content
I hope you like it! Get Yours Now
And I hope you have enjoyed this series and mostly I hope that it has been valuable in helping you live the best year of your life (thus far!) in 2011. I can’t wait to read the stories of how some of you use the ideas to achieve great goals in the year ahead.

I am so thrilled you developed a system to follow through on my goal setting! I am so excited and thankful! I have ordered mine and one for my wife and 5 more for my key people on my team. This is going to make a big difference for us in 2011 and beyond. Thank you Darren!!!

Happy New Year Darren!
Thank you for creating this course! I just ordered 2 for myself and my husband. Now listening to the mp3. With the help of Designing The Best 10 years free course you gave last year, I have been living 2010 with awesomeness, happier and more abundantly. Now it’s time for me to kick it many knotches to be and do more.
A prosperous year to you and your family!

Just imagine what your life can be if you knew the combination to unlock your full potential. As Jim Rohn asks in his 4 Questions To Ponder: Why?, Why Not?, Why Not You?, Why Not Now? Don’t be afraid to ask any of them.
[Reply]
My testimony to Design Your Best Year Ever (the predecessor of the new release): I’ve been living based on this system for the last 10 months and the difference it has made in my life is profound. I am stronger, faster, more alert, better family man, better friend, better businessman, better father, better son, etc. because I look at life through a different prism. I now set goals for all the areas of my life. It may not sound too exciting, but it really is. I see positive changes after taking just few steps (alright, maybe 2-3 dozens of steps) towards achieving my goals, and it drives me to do more.
If you chose to buy the manual (it’s not a book, it is a manual to better life), schedule time in your calendar to study AND implement suggestions that fit your life. Otherwise, as it often happens, it just may become another book that collects dust on a shelf.
Make 2011 count!

In the January 2011 issue of Success p 21, I’m happy to share I’ve completed all action steps on the “Get Financial Happiness Automatically in 2011″ done! I love “giving to charity automatically monthly” as one of the action steps since I usually do most of my charity contributions in the last quarter of the year. Now it’s monthly:)
Darren-on your audio you mentioned about asking ourselves the big “Why” behind each goal. For myself this 2011, I commit to earn $1000 per day and more being an entrepreneur so I can have freedom of mobility and time, live a more awesome lifestyle and give more to help people and to live my highest potential. Is this what you mean?
Thank you!
Now time for me to get outside and workout.

Happy New Year Charmaine. I think your Gaol 1 is really a new Habit you want to instill. As in TCE, “build habits and routines around your goals” (I am paraphrasing, of course). Stick to the discipline and it will pay off handsomely as long as it is aligned with your big goals.
I saw a great ad in Forbes magazine a few years ago. There was a beautiful yacht and people sunbathing on the dock. The four liner read:
“Early to Bed,
Early to Rise,
Work Like Hell,
And Here is the Prize”
Good luck and persistence to you in 2011!

At age 23, I’ve long figured out that goal setting and goal achieving do not necessarily go hand in hand. As a first year law school student I’ve learned that without a definite plan to get to where I want to go, I’m wasting time and getting nowhere fast. I bought this program today regardless of the strain it put on my finances as a full time student because the way I see it I couldn’t afford NOT to get it. I am very excited to get it in the mail and I am glad for the bonuses I get to go through in the mean time. I am determined to draw a line in the sand and build the life I want for myself starting now as opposed to sometime in the future. I am also grateful to all of the people who contribute to this blog with their positivity and their big bodacious goals who while doing so inspire me to go after mine! Hi Ezra,
Happy New Year to you, too!
I am glad to hear you are working on getting your life on track and seek efficient ways to get where you want to be. You can always get your hands on free materials, always. USA is a great country where resources are abound to everyone as long as you have the desire to find them.
I am sure you can find SUCCESS magazine in your local library. Along with that you will probably find works of Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy and our very own Darren Hardy (I highly recommend his book titled The Compound Effect), along with work of many other authors that will deliver simple to implement ideas to dramatically improve your life.
If you can’t find time to visit a library, you can always get a bit of advice and motivation on this blog.
Wherever you get your information, please do keep in mind that you’ve got to commit to study it for 30 minutes a day and implement ideas that will help you. Without implementation we become “educated failures” ~ DH.
To Your Success, Ezra!
[Reply]
Excuse my skepticism Darren, but with every new book launch, each and every author claims it will change our lives! Each say its priced at X amount, but we are offering you at X/10 amount.
I understand we need to live by what the book says, in that if some one has bought your Compound Effect, instead of re-reading that one and try to apply those principles, do they really need to spend again to one more book, just so to add to the existing collection, but not really getting or making anything out of it!
It all feels like a marketing gimmick!

Hi Anirudh,
Thank you for this post and I believe that you voice a concern that others may be thinking as well. Is this a marketing gimmick or not? One way to approach the question is to ask about the “primary intent” behind the offering. Is Darren Hardy/Success making this available to the public to 1. Make money through the exploitation of others (hence the gimmick) or 2. Help others help themselves (e.g. teach a man to fish) AND make a fair, reasonable profit while doing so? With so many publications out there, we gravitate to the ones that we expect to address our particular needs at the time.
Perhaps the issue is in the delivery of the message. I personally could have done without the marketing pitch for the introductory offer of $49.95. At the same time, I would have paid DH’s preferred price of $495 without hesitation because for the me the “primary intent” is #2 and more importantly, learning proper goal setting/achievement is what I am focusing on/need right now. I am happy to pay for this information versus the struggle I’m having figuring it out on my own. Now it’s up to me to do the work and take the $445 I saved and put it into other areas of my education… like buying, reading and implementing The Compound Effect.
Warm regards,
Bobbi-Jo

Anirudh, a library is not complete with one book. Nor is your personal development and ongoing education. It will take many books, systems, mentors, movies, lyrics from songs, conversations with strangers, quite contemplations with yourself in order for you to incite and fully realize the creative potential inside you.
Living Your Best Year Ever addresses some key issues I suggest are essential in your pursuit of improving the results in your life – setting and sticking to your goals and your ongoing productivity. It gives you a living journal to take you through and entire year. Can you live, improve and even thrive without it? Sure. Do I believe this will make it much easier and faster and give you a short cut to better results. Absolutely.
In response to Anirudha and Bobbi-Jo and the idea of gimmickry: A resource should be evaluated on what it is worth, not what it cost. My mentor Jim Rohn taught me this. Stacks of paper bound together with glue with ink on them doesn’t cost very much. But the life lessons, the discoveries, ideas and inspiration that someone has collected, distilled, organized and revealed on those pages can be priceless (if not literally worth tens of millions) to the recipient. I can tell you right now if I could go back in time 20 years ago and buy this system, I would personally pay $1 million for it. Why? Because I know it has produced many times that through fragments and trial and error. If I could have had then all this neatly laid out with the teachings I have learned over the past two decades, I would be worth many more millions, unquestionably.
Choice is yours. All I can do is reach out my hand and offer resources I know to be helpful in one’s pursuit of their improved self. It’s up to you to reach up and grab it. Or not. That’s okay too.
And I DO think you should re-read (listen especially) The Compound Effect many times over and work on integrating the principles into your life.

Bobbi and Darren…appreciate your replies!
With a ex-Success Magazine Subscriber(I had crazy delivery/logistics issue and hence didn’t want to waste time and energy on numerous mails for asking for my delivery status) I totally dig what Darren and his team is doing. My being here itself shows I like and appreciate what DH is doing!
Just that I get so many mails on a regular basis from renowned coaches/motivational speakers all pitching for my money! One may not be much…but if you have 10-20 pitching for even $50 each…in totality its a significant amount of money!
Now yes people may say even $1mn is a small amt IF it can change our lives!
Just that I don’t have $1mn …yet!
For me buying DH or from any other is an expense! For DH and others this is what they have become so good at doing…for them ultimately its profession, its business! They are getting their value from it!
Its 2 ways of looking at it!
I may be completely wrong and totally missing the point!
Just my few minutes of thought sharing!

Anirudh, you brought up some interesting points and caused Darren to share more of Jim Rohn’s wisdom, and I thank you for that. I would like to just add one more point that may somewhat counter or contribute to what DH said. I have a friend who reads and listens to books for hundreds of hours every year and does nothing with all that he learns.
) is truly priceless… unless you are dedicated to tracking than you can actually tell what your ROW is in dollars, improved health, less fights with your loved ones, etc.
This is one case, aside from buying and not reading at all, where I would advise to not spend the money (sorry Darren). A collection that just sits and collects dust is not worth much. A collection of wisdom assembled for tiny fraction of what it will produce in return (ROW – return on wisdom

Anirudh, you know what? I am investing everything in this. It work bro. Don;t be sceptical just be a believer and a doer. In Nigeria, the cost of those resources is stagering but you see success principles have no nationality and cannot be enclosed by borders, or respected by race. If DH is successful because of the system he has learnt, then you can be too if you just take the time to learn what he knows and APPLY IT. It is the application what you know that make success not the books you refuse to buy and read.

All the other goodies are in digital format as well in the ZIP. I have received e-mails that the physical materials are on back order till January 14th here in the US.
Totally hear you on educational offers from others. How to decide what will give you the most bang for your buck? Per advice direct from DH in one of his audio interviews, you could set an education budget as a % of your income then determine which of the many offers fit into your budget and are most likely to help you for where you feel you need the most help and guidance right now.
Darren,
Yes, many books and other learning devices! There is certainly no singular resource that fits all and any singular resource would surpass the printed Encyclopedia Britanica a hundred times over!

We all have our monthly budgets(or should have ideally)…it will be wonderful to block some money for these stuff for ourselves! Say $50 for Self-development eductaion, $50 on gym and so on.
